The Cambrensis Orchestra was formed originally to accompany the choir's classical works. It is made up of professional musicians and gifted amateurs and ranges from a pocket size string quartet for foreign tours to a symphony orchestra for large praise events. At the heart of the orchestra are a number professional players who are continually seeking ways to use their gifts in Christian ministry. ![]() Here are some of the orchestra featuring in 'Classics for the Millennium' commissioned by Rogerstone Baptist Church near Newport. | The
Cambrensis Wind Band gives opportunity for
players of all ages (Grade 5 standard and above) to play together. They join
with other Cambrensis groups for services and concerts as well asproviding
music for churches' special events. The wind band nurtures talent and provides
an outlet for players as they develop. It has a valuable place in Cambrensis'
ministry. Here they are playing in one of their varied venues - the foyer of the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff. ![]() |
