The Cambrensis Concert Band were very pleased to have the opportunity to support the work of BOOKS Plus as they celebrated 25 years of amazing work in the concourse of the University Hospital of Wales.
The Concert Band is going from strength to strength and there were 40 members playing in this concert! The excellent standard of playing under the direction of Dave Elliott was evident as they delighted the audience with classic and contemporary favourites. They were pleased to welcome Jo Bott as the guest singer accompanied by Hilary Elliott and the band.
Ticket sales raised an excellent £700 for the work of Books Plus as they seek to enhance and be part of the caring environment the hospital provides for patients, staff and visitors and to make available Christian literature and other items of general interest for sale.
