Dave Elliott
Musical Director and Conductor of the Cambrensis Concert Band
Dave studied music and then obtained a PGCE at the University College, Cardiff.
He has been a member of the Cambrensis Orchestra since its inauguration and still leads the Trumpet Section. Dave has been the Musical Director and Conductor of the Cambrensis Concert Band for over 20 years and is a founder member of the Cambrensis Brass Quintet. He has also sung in Cambrensis Choir on several occasions.
Dave is now retired after working for nearly 40 years as a peripatetic Brass teacher. He and his wife Hilary, who used to be the Cambrats Accompanist, attend Highfields Church in Roath, Cardiff.
